Since its formation in 1989, the Foundation has been actively involved in promoting fundamental and applied research in accounting and allied subjects. Its has already sponsored three successful research projects and has brought out a number of valuable and useful research publications on accounting and related subjects. The Foundation’s periodic research journal, The Indian Accounting Review, has earned international acclaim for its quality and timeless in publication. Many accounting scholars of international repute, both from India and abroad, have contributed to this journal. The Foundation has been granted the status of an Associate Body by the International Association for Accounting Education and Research (IAAER) in recognition of the services it has rendered in the furtherance of accounting education and research. The Foundation organizes from time to time executive development programmers for the benefit of persons doing managerial jobs in companies and other establishments.
